Jacksonville Women’s Business Center Programs
Located in Downtown Jacksonville, at the Jax Chamber, the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center is an organization that helps women business owners. Powered by the U.S. Small Business Administration the JWBC provides mentoring, workshops, events, and volunteer programs. The Customer Development program teaches business owners the practice of gaining customer insights to generate, test, and optimize ideas for products and services that provide the value that customers seek. This class can help entrepreneurs when developing a customer profile.
Founders, we cannot stress the value of financials. Financial Matters workshop intensive will provide an in-depth financial education to women business owners that will streamline their business infrastructure, improve profitability, and facilitate growth. This class connects women business owners with accountants and financial experts in a workshop learning intensive on the financial aspects of business ownership.
When developing a pitch deck it is important to consider your marketing strategy. Brand development, marketing strategy, public relations, website development, social media, and much more are covered as participants are guided through the development of an immediately executable marketing plan unique to their projected business goals.
15 Years of Helping Women Grow
Founded in 2004 – JWBC has helped more than nine thousand women business owners reach success. JWBC is hosting a celebration on May 18th at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville – home of the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. Tickets are $15 and include a cookout and (birthday cake!) prior to the Jumbo Shrimp game.
